It looks large, but less so when worn, and that’s because behind the frontal vents there are four raised pontoons supporting pads and another at the rear. Everything else is empty space, and a one-way ticket for air to whizz past your head, removing unwanted heat. Said to blend TT helmet speed with road helmet cooling, we can forgive the unprotected EPS base and added mass because it’s the most ventilated helmet we’ve ridden and feels effortlessly fast.
