The outer vents accommodate eyewear, with armshaped channels moulded within the shell for security, and thankfully the BOA FS11’s fabric lace doesn’t interfere with your glasses. It’s highly adjustable and passes behind the brow pad – one of only two – between your head and the MIPS cradle. Coming in only two sizes, we found the large wasn’t large enough, and it squeezed the sides of our head. Ventilation is good around the large ports, especially the top vent, but the cooling effect feels uneven as the throughflow is limited.
