SPECIALIZED AIRTOOL PUMP

-

If you’re new to cycling you may not have seen a track pump. But if you’re at home trying to get your skinny 23mm or 25mm road tyres up to 100psi with a mini pump, this will make your life much easier, and is an investment worth making. You don’t need to spend a fortune on one either. Our tester’s Specialized Airtool is still going strong after a few years of quite heavy use. It gets tyres up to pressure in 23-25 strokes without a Rocky-style workout. It has an all-steel base, long hose and the replaceable ‘Switch-Hitter’ head "ips between Presta (road) and Schrader (mountain bike tyres). We’d also recommend the Lifeline Professional that also costs £35.
