You’re never going to get perfect tools at this price, but this 27-piece starter toolset covers most of the equipment that you’re likely to require on a dayto-day basis, such as tyre levers, spoke key ring and puncture repair kit. We’ve used the same pedal spanner for years, often swapping pedals more than once a week, and it’s still going. We’d have preferred a standard Allen key set, rather than the socket wrench version, which can be a little more !ddly, and the chain tool could do with being a bit bee!er. But overall this works !ne as a starter kit, and if you do catch the road cycling bug big time, then you can easily upgrade to better quality tools one at a time.
