FEEDBACK SPORTS CHAIN KEEPER
£50 › Don’t release your tension
1 Why?
If you remove your bike’s rear wheel for maintenance or cleaning, keeping the chain tensioned is often essential but tricky when you’ve only got two hands. Tension also helps prevent damage when you’re transporting your bike.
2 How?
Feedback’s Chain Keeper ts into the driveside dropout (from the inside of the frame) and serves as a toothless sprocket to stop your chain from hanging loose.
3 Design
The Chain Keeper is designed for bikes with either standard quick releases or 12mm thru axles, and uses speci c interchangeable tips to match each. It’s made from CNC-machined aluminium and weighs 132g in thru axle con guration.
4 Operation
With the rear wheel removed, thread the chain into the Chain Keeper’s black plastic channel, then pull it up and back until the tool’s tip is aligned with the driveside dropout. All that’s left to do now is slot the Chain Keeper into the dropout and secure it into place by tightening its knurled aluminium dial.
5 Effectiveness
The Chain Keeper is well made, and quick and easy to use. Chain security while you’re cleaning your bike is excellent – you can be as thorough/rough as you like with your sponges and brushes, the chain will stay in place.
