If you want super-wide gearing from a singlering then you can pair AXS shifters with an Eagle AXS rear mech and 10-52 tooth cassette for a 520 per cent gear range: AKA ‘mullet’ – small at the front, big at the back. Alternatively, Rival AXS uses the same electrical parts and mechanical features but is made from cheaper alloy and steel architecture.
