It is late Friday afternoon and someone throws you a set of keys to a car for the weekend in Brisbane. What do you do and where do you go? The range of things to see and do in Brisbane is wide and caters to suit almost any food, entertainment and mood preferences. The keys to a BMW X2 were sent our way to share some our favourite places to visit around our home city. So that’s what we did.

After a quiet start to Saturday, the drive out to the lunch destination at Sirromet Wines see you hit the road and head South-East along Mount Cotton Road. Created by T.E. Morris to prove that great wines could be produced in Queensland, it not only produces great wines but also great food out of the three restaurants located on the property. Tours are available to explore and gain an insight into Sirromet’s history, vineyards, growing conditions and production processes. Alternatively, if you are after a bit of sporting fun you could always play a 9-holes round of Supa Golf with over-sized golf clubs and over-sized golf balls.
