EVERYONE is going bananas over this baby boy, who is now desperately seeking a monkey moniker.

Having been kept close to mum since his birth five weeks ago, the tiny spider monkey has only just been identified as a male. Now his keepers at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, need help deciding between a shortlist of names: Silvano, Mico, Rafael, Rico and Alejandro. Keeper Sasha Brook said spider monkeys are endangered: “Having a boy is such exciting news because there is a real shortage of males in the region so when he grows up he’ll be really, really valuable for breeding.”
