Waltz­ing into the week­end

BOWENVILLE took to the dance floor on Satur­day with their Old Time, New Vogue dance.

The event is held on the first Satur­day of ev­ery month for all ages and all dance abil­i­ties.

The dance costs $10 to en­ter, and in­cludes a light sup­per and live mu­sic.

The mu­sic on Satur­day was pro­vided by Mark Boyn­ton, of Mark’s Mu­sic. Mr Boyn­ton pro­vided all the dance pieces for the night.

Cou­ples took to the floor to show off their moves with a num­ber of dances in­clud­ing Pride of Erin, Charmine Schot­tishe, Pa­tri­cia Waltz and an Evening 3 Step.

Af­ter the suc­cess of the New Year’s Eve dance, which saw 140 peo­ple travel as far as Toowoomba to join in the cel­e­bra­tions, Bowenville is look­ing for­ward to the year ahead.

The dance is held in Bowenville Memo­rial Hall.
