1 London’s WHITE CITY HOUSE (left), a new property from the famous Soho House members’ club, has 45 well-appointed and well-priced suites ranging from ‘tiny’ (from $178 a night) to ‘big’ (from $ 345 a night). The mid-century aesthetic — terrazzo tables, timber wardrobes and jazzy tiles — nods to its history as the former BBC Television Centre. Guests can enjoy two floors of lounges, a rooftop pool and bar, and a sprawling gym. The latest temptation is THE SIREN HOTEL (above), which is housed in an historic downtown building. The 106 guest rooms have been decorated with pastel furnishings, navy-blue beds and bespoke blankets, while the bathrooms are tricked out with speckled terrazzo.
