SIZZLE & STEAK
Bistecca, a new Italian eatery in Sydney’s CBD, is devoted to Tuscany’s revered cut of steak, bistecca alla Fiorentina. The meat is cut and weighed tableside before being grilled. Sides include braised cannellini beans and cavolo nero. The carnivorous venture is the brainchild of The Wild Rover and Grandma’s bar owners James Bradey and Warren Burns (pictured above, centre, with Liquid & Larder partners Kim McDiarmid and Dean Simpson).
