IT’S WITH MUCH

-

excitement that we partner with delicious. for a second year to shine a spotlight on the amazing restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes in the country, and the people that power them.

The significance of local businesses hit me when they were forced to close during the lockdowns. I missed not being able to pop into my local coffee shop or go out for dinner with friends and family. It’s not just the meal or the wine that makes for a memorable experience, but the conversations and laughs with the owner, the staff and fellow diners that make it an experience to remember.

Local businesses are the heart of every neighbourhood and the backbone of the nation’s economy. They support the nearby schools, art fairs, your children’s sports clubs, and the hardworking staff they employ. Every dollar spent at a small business not only goes to that business, but back into the community as well.

This is why American Express has been backing small businesses for more than eight years and will continue to do so through delicious. Month Out, and our Shop Small program that will, for the first time, run throughout the year. As we see the shoots of recovery blossom, it’s our collective responsibility to help these businesses get back on track. And with the calibre of dining options out there, it’s not a tough ask!

This May, let’s make the most of our fabulous dining scenes.

We’re extending our exclusive
