Preparing for annual Pretty Pine Market

Deniliquin Pastoral Times - - NEWS -

The Pretty Pine Father’s Day Market committee is in the process of finalising details for this year’s event, and as always they’re seeking stallholders for the day.

Committee members are calling for businesses, makers, creators and producers that offer any kind of item found at a market. This could include preserves, jewellery, clothing and other ‘knick-knacks’.

‘‘This event is significant for our small community and not only do stallholders add to the atmosphere on the day and provide further activities for attendees, they also contribute to our fundraising efforts,’’ Market organiser Emma Crameri.

‘‘The event isn’t too far away, so if anyone is interested please contact the committee.’’

The market is the major fundraiser for the Pretty Pine Recreation Reserve and in the past the committee has also donated some of the proceeds to charity.

Every year the popular market attracts about 3000 people, who travel from far and wide around the region.

For anyone interested in having a stall at the market, phone committee member Ben Chartres on 0437 789 279.
