A 26 year-old Shepparton man has been given a cannabis caution and issued a defect notice for his car after being stopped in Deniliquin on Wednesday.
Police stopped a car in Wanderer St in north Deniliquin about 8.20am after noticing alleged faulty brake and tail lights.
After speaking to the driver and his passenger, police conducted a search of the car and allege to have found a small amount of cannabis inside.
Further checks also allegedly revealed tyre and seatlbelt defects.
Fire facility break-in
Police are investigating the theft of a Husqvarna blower from the Fire & Rescue NSW training facility at Deniliquin Airport.
A storage cage at the facility was broken into between 10am on July 2 and 8am on July 4.
Inquiries are continuing.
