Cattle sale report:
Deniliquin agents yarded 238 cattle at the prime market on Wednesday.
Grown and younger cattle made up most of the yarding. A run of older steers weighed up to 720kg, and made $2.55/kg.
Trade steers made up to $2.90/kg and ranged between $2.40/kg and $2.85/kg. Trade heifers topped at $2.90/kg and ranged between $2.50/kg and $2.75/kg.
Vealers topped at $3.20/kg and very few cows were yarded, but made a top of $2.118/kg. One bull sold, making $1.85/kg.
