Orana gives residents a rockin’ afternoon

Deniliquin Pastoral Times - - Out & About -

Orana residents were groovin’ to some fancy tunes as they watched Deniliquin RSL Rock ‘n’ Roll Dancing members bust out some old time favourites on Thursday.

‘‘Residents love watching performances like this because it brings back many memories from when they were younger, especially this because it’s the dancing they did growing up,’’ Orana leisure and lifestyle officer Darrin Croft said.

‘‘I think the dancers today are resonating with a lot of residents because they just can’t take their eyes off them.

‘‘It’s just really great to see them reengage with their past, so we hope to hold more music and dancing events in the future.’’
