Ten­nis coach visit to­mor­row

The De­niliquin Ju­nior Lawn Ten­nis Club will wel­come ten­nis coach Jake Howe to their courts to­mor­row morn­ing.

Howe will be tak­ing the Red and Or­ange Hot Shots groups, with the club aim­ing to have him pro­vid­ing fur­ther sup­port in 2019.

He may also be avail­able for in­di­vid­ual and group coach­ing.

It was marvel­lous play­ing con­di­tions for the first day of sum­mer in Sec­tion One last Satur­day.

Me­nadue Floor­ing (8 sets) de­feated Mar­shall Elec­tri­cal (0 sets).

De­spite Me­nadue Floor­ing get­ting the up­per hand, a few sets were rather close.

El­ders Real Es­tate (6 sets) de­feated Mur­ray Con­struc­tions (3 sets).

The in­di­vid­ual set win­ners were evenly spread with El­ders and Mur­ray Con­struc­tions scor­ing two sets each.

Three set win­ners in­cluded Jemma Smith, James Sel­leck, Jack Mur­ray, Pheobe Hicks, Jai Ezard and Char­lie Bull.

The fi­nals for 2018 will be played on the De­cem­ber 14, with a pre­sen­ta­tion for all groups, sponsored by El­ders Ru­ral, fol­low­ing play.
