Rams get re­venge on Tune Squad

Rams have ex­acted their re­venge on Tune Squad, win­ning the men’s bas­ket­ball grand fi­nal in De­cem­ber.

Af­ter fall­ing to Tune Squad in the pre­vi­ous de­cider in Au­gust, the Rams were de­ter­mined to score a vic­tory.

It was a tight and low scor­ing af­fair, with Rams only hold­ing an 11 to 5 lead at half time.

The mar­gin be­tween the sides didn’t change much in the sec­ond half, with the Rams hav­ing an an­swer for any points put up by Tune Squad.

When the fi­nal buzzer sounded the Rams found them­selves five points up, record­ing a 23 to 18 win.

Points, Rams: Brett MacDon­ald 7, Bray­den Hall 6, Rob Barnes 4, Oliver Draf­fin 2, An­thony Bull 2, Jamie Chad­der­ton 2.

Tune Squad: Sam Wil­loughby 7, Mick Everett 6, Ai­den Free 3, Bod­die Arthur 2.

The day saw Bray­den Hall have a clean sweep, with the Rams player claim­ing the grand fi­nal MVP and sea­son MVP awards.
