Driver’s licence suspended

-

A 33 year-old Deniliquin man has had his licence suspended pending a court appearance for alleged drink driving.

Police allege the man returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.147 in a secondary breath analysis, following a positive roadside breath test in Decimus St, Deniliquin about 11.30pm Friday.

Police claim they issued an initial roadside breath test because they could smell alcohol on the driver’s breath when speaking with him.

The driver was charged with midrange prescribed content of alcohol.
