Deniliquin Pastoral Times - - Five In Five Challenge For Mental Health Month -

The Five in Five encourages people to look at their own level of activity and to consider doing something new, or a little bit more, to keep your mind and body active. Being active can increase your good moods, keep your body healthy, increase your muscle mass, increase your brain cells, improve how you feel about yourself and prevent or delay the onset of many illnesses.

Being active doesn’t mean you need to spend hours in the gym. Find physical activities that you enjoy and think about how you can do them every day. Minimise the time spent sitting or lying down each day to increase your health and wellbeing.
