There might not have been any world records bro­ken at this year’s Vir­tual Deni Ute Muster, but it was still a record break­ing event.

Fes­ti­val gen­eral man­ager Vicky Lowry said there was a 400 per cent in­crease in en­tires on last year’s vir­tual Show n Shine event.

‘‘It ex­ceeded said.

‘‘There are prob­a­bly mul­ti­ple rea­sons why some of these peo­ple have not entered in the past, but could now be­cause it was vir­tual.’’

In an av­er­age year, the Ute Muster team would re­ceive 40 en­tries across 12 Show n Shine cat­e­gories.

Ute of the Year – Brendan White. Best Street Ute – Sharni Wadley. Best Chick’s Ute – Michaela Bow­ers. Best Themed Ute – Rob Cook (Ned Kelly themed).

Best 4x4 Ute – Bree Mitchell. Best BNS Ute – Sarah Hetheringt­on. Best Clas­sic Ute – Rod­ney Kells. Best Hunt­ing Ute – Trev Hunter. Best Camp­ing Set Up – Aryka Kin­sey Smith.

Ute Fur­thest Vir­tu­ally Trav­elled – Sarah March (Gidge­gan­nup, Western Aus­tralia).

Most Flags – Mark Wil­lis­croft. Mini Muster Mobeel – Sam Fran­cis. There was no Best Tradie Ute win­ner an­nounced.
