Coun­cil presents the ‘Good Stuff’

Mur­ray River Coun­cil is part­ner­ing with lo­cal pod­cast ‘Spread­ing the Good Stuff’ to present a four-part con­ver­sa­tion se­ries for this year’s NSW Small Business Month Fes­ti­val.

‘Spread­ing the Good Stuff’ is a pod­cast cre­ated by lo­cal business own­ers that shares sto­ries of tri­umph, chal­lenge, growth and change to em­power re­gional men and women who want to thrive in their work, well­ness, fam­ily and com­mu­nity.

The Small Business Month podcasts will show­case can­did con­ver­sa­tions with lo­cal business own­ers and fea­ture help­ful in­sights on how they do business and how they pros­per through times of change.

A va­ri­ety of top­ics cov­ered, in­clud­ing:

● Build­ing your brand on­line; ● Tips to sup­port small busi­nesses to stay pos­i­tive, rein­vent and fu­ture-proof their of­fer­ings;

Help­ful ad­vice and case study ex­am­ples of how busi­nesses can

be sup­port each other and pros­per to­gether dur­ing times of change and chal­lenge;

Fi­nan­cial foun­da­tions – as­sis­tance with iden­ti­fy­ing and nav­i­gat­ing gov­ern­ment and com­mu­nity grants pro­grams, un­der­stand­ing your fi­nan­cial po­si­tion and the vi­a­bil­ity of your business, cre­at­ing and im­ple­ment­ing an ac­tion plan to work to­wards your business goals.

The se­ries will be avail­able for free down­load as each pod­cast drops through­out Oc­to­ber 2020.

Podcasts will also be recorded as videos, avail­able to watch on the coun­cil’s dig­i­tal plat­forms.

Coun­cil said they will also be seek­ing the com­mu­nity’s feed­back on the pod­cast se­ries and sug­ges­tions of other ini­tia­tives that may con­nect the lo­cal small business com­mu­nity at this time.
