A dynamic Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive O cer and providing administra­tion support to the Mayor and Councillor­s, you will need to hit the ground running in tasks such as: • Key liaison with CEO, Executive, Mayor and Councillor­s • Manage CEO calendar and meetings with various stakeholde­rs • Provide administra­tive support to the CEO • Manage travel, catering and meetings setup • Produce agendas and minutes for the Executive Leadership Team • Maximise use of technology platforms and devices to ensure productive and exible meeting and communicat­ions such as Council papers and minute distributi­on About the Position: This position is part of a cohesive team dedicated to presenting the park to the highest possible standards. There is a substantia­l component of maintenanc­e along with the day to day grounds operations. ■ Responsibi­lities: As Grounds and Maintenanc­e Person, your duties will include, but are not limited to; • Complete general repairs to all facilities Repair & maintain equipment Ensure the Park is always well maintained and presented at a high standard Grounds work such as weeding, hedging, whipper-snipping and mowing, Use PPE & safe handling of chemicals as required Maintain Pools, bins & other items Follow COVIDsafe procedures as required. Will be required to work some weekends & public holidays. You will need to be a down-to-earth administra­tor, bringing your calm demeanour and sound judgement to be able to juggle priorities. Enthusiasm and a self-start attitude capable of proactivel­y establishi­ng priorities, anticipati­ng needs and using sound judgement Ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines and to work under pressure Excellent written and verbal communicat­ion skills Ability to organise Council meetings, invitation­s, RSVP’s and catering Ability to develop a range of reports, documents, agendas and minute taking • Excellent IT skills across all systems, software and platforms • Flexibilit­y and ability to work after hours and/or travel A good understand­ing of executive support in a Local Government role, a dedicated commitment to con dentiality, an Associate Diploma in Administra­tion or similar eld of study and a sound knowledge of Murray River Council is preferred.
