‘Offensive’ fine
A 39 year-old Deniliquin woman has been fined for offensive language after allegedly hurling a ‘‘barrage of abuse’’ at police.
Police allege the woman was standing at the counter of a local supermarket without a face mask about 4.35pm on Monday.
When they approached her and advised she would be fined for a breach of the public health order, the woman allegedly became abusive.
Teen arrested
A Deniliquin teenager has been charged with breaching a domestic apprehended violence order and malicious damage following an incident at a Deniliquin home on Tuesday.
After an argument with his mother about 8am, the teen went to his room and a loud bang was reportedly heard soon after.
On investigation, the woman found a hole in the bedroom door and allegedly witnessed the teen strike the door with his fist.
The teen was arrested at another address and charged.
