Walk in, no need to book

-

A walk-in Pfizer clinic will be hosted in Deniliquin next week in an effort to help drive up COVID-19 vaccination rates.

The clinic will be hosted at Deniliquin Hospital at 411 Charlotte St, Deniliquin each day.

No bookings are needed, but you will need to bring photo ID, a face mask and your Medicare card, if you have one.

Pfizer will be available to anyone over the age of 12.

Children 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent to receive a vaccine.

With Edward River’s vaccination rates so low, and active cases in the community, Murrumbidgee Local Health District said everyone aged 12 years and older is strongly encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

‘‘By getting vaccinated, you’re helping to stop the spread of infection — protecting yourself, your loved ones, and your community,’’ a spokesperson said.
