Shoot off, but raffle still running

Deniliquin Clay Target Club’s shoot this Sunday has been cancelled.

Club members say they are ‘‘erring on the side of caution’’ due to the growing Deniliquin outbreak cluster, changed rules in NSW and some border travel complications.

It is unclear when the event will be able to be rescheduled.

The shoot was meant to be the club’s annual CanAssist Charity Day, but Rob Collicoat said people can still support the cancer assistance group through the Clay Target Club’s raffle.

Tickets are available at Betta Home Living Superstore in George St, Deniliquin.

Proceeds donated to CanAssist help support people in the community receiving cancer treatment. Support is commonly in the form of fuel vouchers and help with bills.

Families needing assistance from Deniliquin CanAssist are invited to reach out to the local group, by calling 0455 097 676.
