GOORAMBAT FOOTBALL

-

A new face on Goorambat’s touchline and an influx of new faces heralds an exciting outlook for season 2022 at the Bat Cave.

Second-year mentor Sam Gladstone will be joined by Jarred Brennan at the helm this year, who steps in after a move from the Saints where he was an assistant coach during the Jimmy Martiniello years.

Teetering on the edge of finals contention at the conclusion of the 2021 season, Brennan is confident his side can convert itself into a genuine finals contender this year.

“I couldn’t be happier with how our pre-season’s gone, we’ve gained a few and those that have come in have added to who we’ve already got,” he said.

A boom off-season recruitment drive has boosted the mood and it’s clear for all to see Brennan and Gladstone are building a side capable of regularly challenging the top outfits.

Blake Uebergang, Jack Spinks, Aaron Blackburn, Jamie Dunne and Marcus O’Brien come into the side, further bolstering the Bats’ already formidable list.
