CanAssist high tea back

After a two year break, Deniliquin CanAssist’s most popular fundraiser will return next month.

The High Tea fundraiser will be held on Sunday, April 24, at the Crossing Café in Deniliquin, from 3pm to 5.30pm.

The cost to attend is $55 per head, which gives you champagne on arrival, bottomless tea and coffee and a scrumptious afternoon tea.

There will be a mini raffle throughout the day with all proceeds from the day going directly to local cancer patients.

Tickets, sold as tables of eight, will be available from April 7, from 9.30am at Party Pack + Wrap or online at www.ticketebo.2

Deniliquin CanAssist president Kellie Crossley said the high tea is one of the group’s major fundraisers, and helps them support people in the community with cancer.

“It’s always such a fun, enjoyable afternoon and after a two year hiatus, it’s a wonderful opportunity for friends and family to get together for such a great community cause,” she said.

“Last time our tickets sold out in 48 hours, so I am encouraging everyone to be quick and get their tickets.”

A VIP table will be auctioned off before ticket sales open.

Sponsored by Nutrien, the VIP experience includes two bottles of sparkling wine, a delicious food platter and party favours on arrival. Bidding starts at $55 per person (or $440 table) and all money raised will be donated to CanAssist Deniliquin

▯ The auction will go live this Sunday at 6pm, and close at 8pm Tuesday. To bid, go to VIPtable2022.
