RAMS JUNIOR FOOTY REPORTS:

-

Thirds:

It was a slow start to the match by both sides, with the ball moving from one end of the ground to the other without any scoreboard damage.

Deni was able to take a small lead into the first quarter break, which didn’t last long.

Rumba came out firing in the second quarter with five unanswered goals, which left the

Deni boys frustrated.

A half-time address from coach Chris Mitsch put some fire into the boys’ bellies.

They stepped up in the second half, but unfortunately it just wasn’t enough to get them over the line.

They went down by a disheartening three points in what was a winnable game.

Final score: Rumbalara 6.7 (43) def Rams 6.3 (39).

Best players: Miller Fitzpatrick, Harry Way, Isaac Suckling, Brodie Park, Nash Suckling, Logan Leiper.

Fourths:

Another great day for footy against Rumbalara.

The boys seemed a bit flat for the day but managed to have a good win; maybe their minds were on Eddie Betts, playing seniors later in the day. Scores at half time we were up by 63 points, and at the final siren we won by 107.

We had 12 different goal scorers during the game with Jai Park bagging 6, Oscar Marshall and Charlie McCallum two each, and singles to multiple players.

Final score: Rumbalara 2.7 (19) lt Rams 19.12 (126).
