BADMINTON RESULTS:

Round nine of the summer competition was played on Monday evening.

Thank you to all those people who filled in for absent players on this night.

Hotshots claimed victory over Smashers with a top score of 304-213.

Three game winners for Smashers were Troy Grant, Nicole Hipworth and Declan Luks.

Racqueteers defeated Badminators with a score of 286-269.

Three game winners for Racqueteers were Michael Pisasale jnr, Jeff Andrews, Pradeep

Wilson and Pam Boulton. Donna Pisasale was the only three game winner for Badminators.

Team Smashers have the bye in round 10 this Monday, the final round before finals, The grand final is scheduled for May 30.

The winter competition will start Monday, June 20.

It will be a five week competition plus finals. The badminton club welcomes new players of any age, ability and experience.
