NEW INSULIN

Researchers at Stanford University have been working on a new ultrarapid formulation of insulin that is designed to quickly manage BGLs. Their current trial saw the insulin act twice as fast in pigs with diabetes over the currently available insulin. Taking effect almost immediately, this insulin could be a game changer. However, more research is required.
