NIKON has confirmed the upcoming release of the D850, its latest high-res full-frame DSLR. Few details have been announced, with Nikon stating that it will be a “high-resolution, high-speed

camera” with “a range of new technologies, features and performance enhancements that are a direct result of feedback from users over the years.”Nikon has released a promotional video on YouTube – Hercules Rising (www.bit.ly/ dc194d850) – which was shot on the D850 itself. The maximum 2160p resolution of the video indicates that the new camera records in 4K, and the video explicitly states that the D850 is capable of 8K time-lapse recording.
