Hitting the spot
WHEN you need to place the focus precisely, start by manually selecting
a single AF point. Cameras with a large spread of AF points make it easier to line one up with the most important feature in a photo, but this won’t always be the case. Sometimes you may have to move the camera and half-press the shutter release to lock the focus, before recomposing the shot. If the camera struggles to focus with one of the outer points, just use the centre one instead.
