There is a wonderful sense of depth in this subtle yet striking image. The dynamic composition draws the viewer’s gaze deep into the scene, where it’s just about possible to make out a bridge through the fog at the end of the path. The heavy frost adds a delightfully eerie mood that suggests the trees and bushes have been frozen in time while blowing in a strong wind.
