VALDA BAILEY
Landscape photographer
Born in Jersey, Valda first became interested in photography at the age of 14. She later briefly attended art college in London, and her work has always been greatly influenced by painting.
After putting aside painting in her 20s, she took up street photography before starting to shoot landscapes. Around 2010 she began using intentional camera movement and later incorporated the use of multiple exposures. In 2016 her book
Fragile was published by Triplekite. She currently teaches workshops for Light & Land (www.lightand land.co.uk). She lives in Sussex.
