ExoLens Pro with Optics by Zeiss Wide-Angle Kit
£200/$200
The ExoLens system is based 3 around a precision-machined metal skeleton that slides over the upper
end of your iPhone. A rubberised coating on the inner surface ensures it grips without scratching, while a tripod socket and a small cold shoe are positioned on opposite edges.
Attaching an ExoLens optic to the bracket is easy and, like the bracket, the quality of the metal-barrel lenses is worthy of the Zeiss branding. This continues when it comes to optical performance. Whether using the 0.6x wide or £190/$200 2x telephoto lens, distortion and aberrations are negligible, while sharpness is outstanding across the entire frame.
Downsides? Compatibility is currently limited to standard and Plus variants of the iPhone 6, 6S and 7, and the lenses are far from cheap. Pros Near flawless design, build and optical quality. CONS Currently no iPhone 8/X compatibility; bulky lenses; very pricey. WE SAY Impressive, but you’ll need to be a die-hard iPhoneographer at this price.
