“I work as a designer in Mashed. I had spotted this tree when hiking in the nearby Binalud Mountains in the summer, and decided to go back to this location in the winter snows. It was very cold that day, -15°C, and after a three-hour walk, I had to wait another hour for the light to break slightly. I was inspired by the fact that the tree looked as lonely as I was up there on the mountain with the snow up to my knees.”
