Step 3

Make a selection inside the opening on the bauble. I used the Quick Selection tool, but use whatever tool you are more comfortable with. For tricky shapes, I would use the Pen tool. Having made the selection, paint with a solid black brush on to the mask to reveal a clear view of your background image.
