Fix errors easily with layer masks

Take control of your image blend

-

When you blend two images together using a layer mask, it’s easy to correct any errors you make. At first, the mask is pure white: this means none of the layer below will show through. With the mask’s thumbnail selected in the Layers panel, painting black makes a ‘hole’ in the top layer and reveals the layer beneath. Swap to a white brush and you can paint over any errors, restoring the parts of the top layer you want to show. If you want a semi-transparent effect that mixes the two layers together, paint with grey.
