Typical settings

-

Sharpening should always be judged by eye, but there are ball-park amounts you can start with. For example, a typical setting for a 12-inch print would be Amount 120, Radius 1.8, while for a web image it might be Amount 200, Radius 0.4. Subject plays a part too

– in general, landscapes require a lower Radius and higher Amount, while for portraits it’s the opposite.
