If lux could kill
Leica’s new travel-friendly C-Lux compact boasts a 24-360mm equivalent zoom
Under its stylish Light Gold/Midnight Blue shell, the Leica C-Lux is essentially a Panasonic Lumix TZ200. Likely to appeal to well-heeled travellers, the camera twins a 15x Leica DC Vario-Elmar 8.8-132mm (24-360mm equivalent) f/3.3-6.4 zoom with a one-inch BSI-CMOS 20MP sensor. There’s a three-inch touchscreen display and a 2.33 million-dot electronic viewfinder around the back, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabling the camera to be controlled remotely via the Leica C-Lux app. A burst speed of up to 10fps (6fps with continuous autofocus), Raw shooting, 4K video and 5-axis stabilisation round off the feature set. http://uk.leica-camera.com; £875/$1,050
