For the composition of our fruit images, we opted to take a bird’s eye view. We lit the setup using a reflector to lift the shadows. If you don’t have one of these, use some white card or tinfoil. The idea is to get an evenly lit result without distracting shadows – a classic food photography technique that boosts colour and suggests freshness.
