“This image was taken at a festival in Cathedral City, California, last fall. Once the balloon was partially inflated, the pilot let me lean in between super-hot blasts to get the shot. I love the vibrant colours and patterns of this particular balloon. A balloon festival can be an awesome place to envision and shoot fun, mesmerising images Most, if not all, of these festivals hold ‘balloon glow’ events at night.”
