Exploring the angles

The background of a photo is just as important – if not more so – than what’s in front of it, and finding an angle that makes the most of both is key. For instance, the placement of the horizon behind West Pier became a discussion point, as at just the right height, the sea could be lined up with the structure’s platform to create one continuous line.
