Two additional XF lenses confirmed for Fujifilm’s X-series mirrorless cameras
Fujifilm is set to launch both a new matt-silver telephoto lens and a wide-angle zoom. The XF200mm f/2 RLM OIS WR comes supplied with a new XF1.4X TC f/2 WR teleconverter, and the combo will set you back £5,399/$6,000. It gives the equivalent focal length of a 300mm lens on a full-frame camera, which is boosted to the equivalent of 427mm (at f/2.8) with the addition of the teleconverter. The lens will be available from late October. Joining it in November is the XF8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR. Priced at £1,799/$2,000, the new zoom has a constant f/2.8 aperture and gives an effective focal length of 12-24mm in full-frame terms. Fujifilm has also announced three forthcoming lenses: a 33mm f/1.0, a 16mm f/2.8 and a 16-80mm f/4.
