This month’s shooting challenge gives you a great opportunity to experiment with your composition. There are many subjects that lend itself to this brief – for example bridges, piers, buildings or aerial photography of any sort (which could be from a drone or simply a high vantage point). We’re looking for creative compositions that stand out from the crowd.

Think about what kit you might need before you head out on your shoot. If you’re going up high, then using a wide-angle lens might not be the best option, as the scene below can appear very small. You may get better results using a telephoto lens. Equally, from below a telephoto lens might not give you that dynamic result and a wide-angle could be the better option here.
