Activate... Highlight alert

Use this camera feature to avoid overexposure

As an additional precaution for avoiding overexposed pictures, you can activate a highlight alert. This will cause areas that are at risk of being too bright to blink when you play back an image. Some cameras also offer a ‘zebra pattern’ – a feature inherited from video cameras – that does the same job during Live View.

Too bright!The highlight alert is useful in bright sun, when it may be hard to see the histogram.
