Select the subject

-

Pick the Quick Selection Brush; in the options bar at the top of the screen, click Select Subject. Photoshop will do its best to isolate the subject, but it won’t be perfect. For a better result, you can include areas that are missing by dragging the brush over them. To remove areas, Alt-drag the brush. You can adjust brush size with the square brackets keys, so take your time and get the best selection you can. If some areas don’t play ball, switch to the Lasso tool, and either add (hold Shift) or subtract (hold Alt) by manually drawing on the pic. Once you have a good selection, click Select And Mask in the Options bar.
