Output sliders

These let you control the brightness of pure white or black. Drag either inwards and you’ll see contrast begin to reduce. They can be useful if you want to restrict the tonal range for printing, or if you want to give an image a faded retro look. The Output sliders can affect colours when you choose a different colour channel to edit (see tip 2) so it’s worth experimenting with them in combination with the Red, Green or Blue channels.
