Sliders

These three sliders are the most important features of the Levels box. They let you control the black point, white point and midtone brightness. By setting whites and blacks you determine a point at which pixels will either be full black or full white. Hold Alt and drag either slider for a view that will show clipped pixels appearing in black or white. It’s usually best to drag both whites and blacks in to a point just before clipping occurs.
